3. What are the quarantine rules in Mumbai for passengers arriving at Mumbai Airport on Vande Bharat mission flights/repatriation flights? As per the guidelines issued by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, all passengers are subject to mandatory quarantine for 14 days i.e. 7 days paid institutional quarantine at their own cost, followed by 7 days isolation at home with self-monitoring of health. Further, Air Suvidha Self Reporting Form needs to be mandatorily filled by all passengers arriving from abroad irrespective of their airport of arrival in India. Accordingly, all International arriving passengers should submit Air Suvidha Self Reporting Form on the Air Suvidha online portal (hosted on www.newdelhiairport.in), at least 72 hours before the scheduled travel. As per the requirement of the state, passengers are requested to carry the copy of the undertaking form (Download here) which needs to be presented upon arrival to MCGM officers. This print should be carried by the passengers along with Air Suvidha and exemption certificate. 4. What are the travel guidelines for passengers arriving on domestic sector flights? As per the guidelines issued by the Government, asymptomatic passengers arriving on domestic flights require to undergo 14 (fourteen) days of home quarantine. If it is a returning/onward journey within 7 days then no quarantine. Passengers need to show their return/ onward ticket during the thermal screening process. Travelers may seek exemption from institutional quarantine by applying on Air Suvidha online portal and by submitting a negative RT-PCR test report on arrival. This test should have been conducted within 72 hours prior to undertaking the journey. An authentic test report should be uploaded on the Air Suvidha online portal for consideration. Also, based on the submission of information on the Air Suvidha online portal, passengers with special cases of human distress such as pregnancy, death in family, serious illness and parent(s) with children of the age of 10 years or below, may be permitted for home quarantine for 14 days. MCGM has designated hotel where quarantine facility is provided for passengers arriving on international flights. Based on the availability of hotel rooms, the list of authorised hotels is maintained with MCGM authorities and passengers may choose any hotel as per their budget and convenience. 9. Can I avail porter services on arrival? Pranaam provides Skycap Services, a paid porter services for passengers who need help with the check-in baggage upon arrival on a domestic flight at Mumbai Airport. Are passengers allowed to board domestic flights after arriving from international destinations on Vande Bharat mission /repatriation flights? Only those International arriving passengers who have received prior permission for exemption from Institutional quarantine through Air Suvidha online portal, will be allowed to board domestic flights. Is it mandatory to have Aarogya Setu app? Aarogya Setu app is a tracking app. It is designed to track users that may have the coronavirus infection thereby enabling its registered users to be notified, traced and suitably supported. It also functions as an indicator of whether or not a user has been infected or likely to be infected. It is not mandatory but highly recommended/advisable for everyone including personnel working at the airport and passengers, to have the Aarogya Setu app installed on their mobile before entering the airport premises. 13. Is it safe to travel if the status on Aarogya Setu app shows red? Passengers with Red display on Aarogya Setu app are advised not to travel and to maintain complete isolation to mitigating any possibility of spread of COVID-19. Please also note that Passengers with Red display on Aarogya Setu app will not be allowed to enter the airport terminal premises. However, the Passengers with Green display will be allowed to enter the terminal building post successful completion of the entry process along with thermal scanning. As per the latest directive from the Government of India, International flight operations are suspended until 23:59hrs IST of 31st January, 2021. Air Bubble & Vande Bharat flights will continue to operate as per schedule. This directive does not apply to international all cargo operations and flights specifically approved by DGCA. 15. What documents are to be carried for International Arriving passengers at the airport? Is RT-PCR test mandatory? RT-PCR test is mandatory for passengers who are seeking an exemption from Institutional quarantine. For applying for an exemption you have to visit Air Suvidha portal. 18. RT-PCR test results take more than 24 hours, then how one can do the test within 72 hours of flight and upload on portal at least 72 hours prior the flight? Sample for COVID-19 test have to be taken within 72 hours of boarding. If the final report is not available 72 hours prior the flight, passengers shall carry the report and can show it on arrival at the airport. Also, such passengers can apply for exemption online & upload proof of test mentioning that they are waiting for result to arrive. 19. What are the guidelines on RT PCR test for international travel into India? The test should have been conducted within 72 hours prior to undertaking the journey. The exemption form can be filled post going for the test up to 72 hours before departure. In case the report is not available in time, the form can be filled with proof of test and on arrival, passengers are expected to show a covid negative certificate along with exemption approval. Passengers with covid negative certificate can travel in public transport including domestic flights to reach their final destinations. 20. If I have an approved exemption from institutional quarantine can I take a connecting domestic flights? As per current government guidelines passengers exempted from institutional quarantine can travel by surface using personal mode of transport. Public transport including domestic flights are not allowed till 14 days of quarantine period is complete. Passengers with RT PCR negative certificate are allowed to take domestic connections. Important Note: All domestic passengers arriving from Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Goa shall carry RT-PCR negative test report with them before boarding and show it to the teams at the Mumbai airport.
