ARMENIA
​Entry of Citizens
  1. Entry allowed for all citizens of the Republic of Armenia.
  2. Their family members who are not citizens of the Republic of Armenia
Entry of Non- Citizens
Entry of the following is prohibited:
  1. Non-citizens of the Republic of Armenia arriving from the Russian FederationorGeorgia.
  2. Non-citizens of the Republic of Armenia who have arrived from the list of countries with tense epidemic situation or have been in those countries during the previous 14days.

  3. Diplomatic representatives, representatives of consulates and international organizations and their family members from the countries (territories) with tense epidemic situation.
  4. A driver and one replacing driver for a cargo transportation from the RussianFederation, Islamic Republic of Iran or Georgia, as well as entry and exit of personnel of cargo planes who do not have detected symptoms of virus.
  5. With the special permission of the Border Guard Commander of the Republic of Armenia, individuals with justified health, economic or manufacturing emergency needs to enter the Republic of Armenia.
  6. Relatives (parents, spouse, children, sister and brother) of the deceased who are scheduled to attend a memorial or a burialceremony.
  7. One driver and one substitute driver for a freight carrier coming from theRussian Federation, Iran or Georgia.
  8. Aircraft personnel performing passenger or cargo transportations, as well as military or sanitary flights.
  9. In other special occasions, determined by the Commandant.

CANADA

Entry of Non-Citizens
Following are permitted:
  • Canadian citizens and permanent resident card-holders are eligible to enter Canada.
  • Eligible travellers do not require additional permission letters.
  • Travellers who are not in one of these categories are NOT eligible to travel unless they meet travel restriction exemptions AND their travel is deemed non-optional and non-discretionary.

Students are advised to also get the confirmation from the respective institute about their travel so that there are no issues during immigration process.

  • upon arrival For contact tracing passengers arriving in Canada are required to complete the Coronavirus Form or use the ArriveCAN mobile App for submitting required information.
CHINA
Entry of Citizens : Allowed
Entry of Non-Citizens

  • Foreign nationals entering China must hold a valid Chinese visa
  • Overseas Chinese passengers to fill in and report health information for epidemic prevention before returning back home by air
  • Chinese and foreign passengers arriving in China by air should complete a nucleic acid test within 5 days before boarding.
  • Nucleic acid testing should be conducted at an institution designated or recognised by the Chinese Embassy in the People’s Republic of China.
  • Chinese passengers to upload their negative nucleic acid test certificate through the Health Code International app.
  • Foreign passengers shall apply to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate for a Declaration of Health Status with the negative Nucleic Acid Test Certificate.
  • Passengers who provide false certificates and information shall bear the corresponding legal responsibilities.
Remark
  • Quarantine inspection done by Customs on arrival.
  • Symptoms such as fever, fatigue, cough, difficulty breathing to be reported immediately.
  • The health code status and the declaration of health status will be checked before boarding.
  • Passengers who do not meet the relevant requirements cannot board the aircraft.
FINLAND (HELSINKI)
Entry of Citizens : Allowed
Entry of Non-Citizens
  • Citizens of EU and Schengen countries with permanent residence in Finland can enter.
  • Holders of residence permits can enter.
  • Family members of citizens resident in Finland can enter.
  • Family members of citizens of EU and Schengen countries with permanent residence in Finland can enter.
  • Citizens and resident permit holders of other EU and Schengen countries may transit through Finland.
Quarantine Rules
  • Strong recommendation for people to remain in self-isolation for 14 days after arrival.
  • If person demonstrates covid-19 symptoms, they are directed to health officials followed by a mandatory 14- day quarantine.
FRANCE
Entry of Citizens : Allowed
Entry of Non-Citizens
Following are permitted:
  • French Passport Holders.
  • Indians with valid Student Visa.
  • Any National citizen with French Spouse and their children.
  • Any national citizen in Transit going to final citizens even without Schengen Visa.
  • EU citizen with Schengen visa.
  • Any national with Permanent Resident card of France.
Personnel of diplomatic and consular missions, as well as international organisations headquartered or having an office in France, holding a special residence permit or a visa D “carte PROMAE
Quarantine Rules
  • Quarantine / Isolation measures may be prescribed to passengers on arrival in France.
  • Effective 01 Aug 2020 all passengers aged eleven (11) years old or older travelling to France need to undergo a biological examination of virological screening test also called RT-PCR test, carried out less than 72 hours before the flight.
  • The test report showing COVID-19 negative result has to be presented at the immigration counter at Paris airport on arrival.
  • Covid Test certificate is not required for Transit Passengers i.e. passengers having onward flight from Paris within 24 hours and who will remain in transit zone at the airport.

Each passenger must complete the following three forms, either in English or French.

  • Public Health Passenger Locator Form: To be submitted to Air India official on arrival at Paris.
  • International Travel Certificate to Mainland France Form: To be filled in Duplicate (One copy to be retained by Air India, at departure airport and second copy to be submitted at immigration counter, Paris Airport).
  • Sworn Statement of Absence of COVID-19 Symptoms and of Contact with Confirmed Cases Form: To be submitted at immigration counter, Paris airport.
GEORGIA

GERMANY
Entry of Citizens : Allowed
Entry of Non-Citizens
All non essential entry into Germany is prohibited for holders of Schengen – Visa and of Visas of Category D (long term)
Following are permitted and are exempt from entry restriction:
  • Holders of Residence permits (Aufenthaltserlaubnis) and Permanent residence permits (Niederlassungserlaubnis)
  • Holders of Family Reunion Visas (Category D)
  • Holders of Long term (Category D) visas for employment in Health and Health research sectors, for care of elderly as well as specialists and highly qualified workers whose employment is economically necessary and whose work cannot be postponed or carried out abroad
  • Long term (Category D) visas for study purposes as long as the studies cannot be carried out completely from abroad
Proof of Eligibility has to be presented at immigration point in Germany, e.g copy of marriage (registration) certificate as well as Passport and Residence Permit of spouse residing in Germany, confirmation issued by employer / university about mandatory physical presence in Germany
Transit is permitted to other EU countries where entry is allowed, and to onward travel to non-EU countries when Schengen transit visa waiver is applicable (e.g for holders of Green Cards of USA or Canada)

HONG KONG

Entry of Non-Citizens
Only HK SAR residents / Passport holders are permitted entry
All arrival passengers are required to comply with conditions as specified in Cap599H. For details refer to this link.
All travellers must carry a letter or certificate in English or Chinese issued by a laboratory or healthcare institution bearing the name and identity card or passport number of the relevant traveller to show that:
  • The relevant traveller underwent a nucleic acid test for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) the sample for which was taken from the relevant traveller within 72 hours before the scheduled time of departure of the specified aircraft
  • The test conducted on the sample is a nucleic acid test for COVID-19
  • The result of the test is that the relevant traveller was tested negative for COVID-19 and the original of the report for the test issued by the laboratory or healthcare institution bearing the name and identity card or passport number of the relevant traveller.
  • Letter in English or Chinese issued by the relevant authority of the government of the place in which the laboratory or healthcare institution is located certifying that the laboratory or healthcare institution is recognised or approved by the government
  • The relevant traveller has confirmation in English or Chinese of room reservation in a hotel in Hong Kong for not less than 14 days starting on the day of the arrival of the relevant traveller in Hong Kong

  • Compulsory Quarantine of 14 days in listed Hotel booked / isolation and treatment in Hospital based on the result of mandated COVID -19 Test conducted on arrival at Hong Kong

INDONESIA
Entry of Citizens : Allowed
Entry of Non-Citizens
Following are permitted *
  • Temporary or Permanent Stay Permit (KITAS and KITAP) holders
  • Holders of Diplomatic Visa and Official/Service Visa, Holders of Diplomatic Stay Permit and Official/Service Stay Permit
  • Those providing Medical Services / humanitarian assistance
  • Airline and Maritime Crews
  • National Strategic Projects workers
  • Children of dual citizenship with a foreign passport and registered in the immigration system as an Indonesian citizen
  • Holders of Temporary or Permanent Stay Permits (Permanent Residents/KITAS and KITAP) and Multiple Re-entry Permit that has expired and is still abroad are permitted entry through designated airports including Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta.
All passengers other than Indonesians need to have a valid PR Permit for Indonesia and must also have a PCR Test Report to confirm that they are free from COVID-19 infection
Indonesians are also encouraged to undergo PCR Test, however can be permitted entry with a medical certificate for fitness to travel

Quarantine Rules
  • Indonesians to undergo health examination on arrival and undertake a mandatory 14 day self-quarantine at home.
  • Foreign visitors required to hold a health certificate or medical certificate of fitness to fly and undertake a mandatory 14-day quarantine at designated facilities or self-quarantine under supervision of Indonesian health authority.
IRELAND (DUBLIN)

Foreign nationals are permitted
Passengers are required to complete a Public Health Passenger Locator Form before they arrive in Ireland and may be contacted during the 14 days after they arrive in Ireland to check that they are self-isolating.

ISRAEL
Entry of Citizens : Allowed
Foreign nationals not permitted
Following are permitted:
  • Israeli Citizens or residents.
  • Passengers having a specific entry approval from the Population and Immigration Authority of Israel.
  • (Permission from local Embassy in India will not be accepted)
  • Transit facility in Israel is completely closed till further notice.
  • No passengers can transit via Israel for onward travel.
Quarantine Rules
All passengers entering in to Israel have to go for mandatory quarantine for 14 days.
ITALY
Entry of Citizens : Allowed
Following are permitted:
  • Nationals or residents of Italy;
  • Passengers traveling on business;
  • Passengers traveling for urgent health reasons;
  • Healthcare personnel traveling on duty;
  • Passengers traveling for emergency reasons;
  • Passengers returning via Italy to their country of residence.
  • Foreigners holding expired stay permits need not reapply for entry visa. The validity of expired stay permits has been extended till 31st August 2020.

As notified by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Italy, the validity of Residence Permits which have expired or expiring have been extended till 31 Aug 2020.
This applies only for stay permits that have expired or that will expire between 31st January 2020 and 31st July 2020.
Foreign nationals holding such expired stay permits do not need to reapply for entry visa. They are allowed to return to Italy on their expired stay permits.

JORDAN

  • All passengers including Jordan Nationals need to have prior permission from Jordan Government to travel to Jordan in current scenario.
  • Passengers need prior clearance by Jordan Embassy in Delhi for travel to Amman
Quarantine Rules

KAZAKHSTAN
Entry of Citizens : Allowed
Following Are Permitted:
  • Personnel of the diplomatic service of Kazakhstan and foreign states
  • Members of official delegations, as well as members of delegations of international organisations traveling to Kazakhstan at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan
  • Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan (stateless persons, documented by the Republic of Kazakhstan with a certificate of a stateless person) who have previously traveled to the territory of a foreign state upon their return to the Republic of Kazakhstan
  • Foreigners (stateless persons) who have Residence permits of the Republic of Kazakhstan (oralman status) and members of their families (spouse, parents and children)
  • Foreigners (stateless persons) who are members of families of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan – with confirmation documents of the fact of kinship(spouse, parents and children)
Quarantine Rules
  • Quarantine of up to 14 days in designated Quarantine Hospitals, provincial hospitals or home quarantine as per passengers symptoms & test results of laboratory examinations.

Quarantine Rules
  • 14 days mandatory Quarantine on arrival.
  • Passenger must be tested and obtain a Covid-19 free certificate. The test should be undertaken within 7 days of the date of travel.
  • Passenger must carry along the original Covid-19 free certificate.
  • Passengers who had travelled to India for medical treatment must obtain a pre-medical clearance (fit to fly) certificate prior to departure.
KUWAIT
As per notification issued by Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Kuwait dated 30.07.2020, carriage of passengers from India to Kuwait is not permitted till further notice.
KYRGYZSTAN
Entry of Citizens : Allowed
Entry of Non-Citizens
  • Foreign nationals not permitted Following are permitted Immediate family members of citizens of Kyrgyzstan (subject to confirmation of kinship)
  • Foreign diplomatic and consular staff and their family members (given an advance notice of arrival to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan)
  • Members of train, locomotive and aircraft crews; freight drivers Kyrgyz Temir Zholu employees working in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan All residents are only allowed to enter Kyrgyzstan with valid passports.
Quarantine Rules
  • Travellers (including Kyrgyz citizens) arriving from countries with more than 1,000 confirmed cases of COVID- 19 will be subject to 14-day quarantine at a medical facility.
  • All other travellers have to undergo mandatory 14-day home Quarantine
MALAYSIA

NETHERLANDS

Entry of Non-Citizens: Foreign Nationals are not permitted
Following Are Permitted:
  • EU citizens (including UK nationals) and members of their families
  • Nationals of Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and their family members.
  • Third-country nationals holding a residence card or a residence permit in accordance with Directive 2003/109/EC (LTR Directive)
  • Third-country nationals who derive their right of residence from other European Directives or from the national law of a Member State.
  • Holders of a long-stay visa, including persons with a temporary residence permit (MVV)

  2. You are a new admission case, and have not as yet joined your educational institution before the COVID-19 outbreak.
    1. (Explanation: New admittees for the 2020 Fall term in US educational institutions are advised to consider deferring travel to the US to a date closer to the opening date of their institution, subject to local public health conditions.)
  3. In the case of continuing students, who are making normal progress in their courseofstudy, and may have left the US to visit India before India’s Lockdown commenced, MUST check with their Designated School Officials to confirm the school’s operational status.
  4. Alternatively, they may obtain guidance on the School’s policy for foreign students returning to the US. In such cases, students MAY ONLY attempt to travel to the US with written documentary confirmation that the School is open. Without such documentation, even if continuing students have valid F or M visas, they may not be permitted to board an outbound flight.
